Peter Halley’s exhibition “HETEROTOPIA I” at the Magazzini del Sale in Venice

At the Magazzini del Sale, the american artist proposes an environmental and immersive installation that addresses the themes of the past through new plastic and architectural elements from 8 May to 10 August 2019.

Heterotopia I is the installation designed by Peter Halley and presented by the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia and the magazine Flash Art on the occasion of the 58th Biennale di Venezia. Located within the historic Magazzini del Sale area, the installation consists of a sequence of eight interconnected rooms consisting of digitally printed murals, artificial light palettes and three-dimensional objects. FusinaLab under the supervision of the artist, set up the space at the Magazzini del Sale creating a container inside the existing structure. Peter Halley has invited three artists Lauren Clay, Andrew Kuo and R.M. Fischer who made installations with different technical specifications and materials.
